Overview
Bellhouse Real Estate Group is a three-agent team with eXp Realty serving Charlottesville and Central Virginia. Most agent sites are a brokerage template with a search box. Bellhouse wanted something closer to a local publication: their own listings and sales, guides to the counties they work in, notes from the agents, and a clear way for homeowners to request a valuation.
We built a custom site with a team login, so listings, sold records, area pages, and notes are updated by the agents without a developer. Search hands off to the brokerage's full MLS tool, while everything that makes the team distinctive lives on their own domain.
What we built
Listings and sold history
The team's own active listings with tour requests, and a sold table that totals the year automatically.
Area guides
Pages for Charlottesville and eleven surrounding counties, each with local photography and the neighborhoods the team knows.
Interactive service map
A hand-built SVG map of Charlottesville and the eleven counties the team covers, with hover states that link to each area guide. No map service, no tracking, loads instantly.
Team login
A private admin where agents add listings, mark sales, and publish notes, with no CMS to learn.
Home-value lead flow
A valuation request answered by an agent, positioned against automated estimates.
MLS handoff
The search form passes location and filters straight into the brokerage MLS search.
Compliance
Fair Housing statement, MLS attribution, accessibility page, and the agent license details required in Virginia.
Design notes
Real estate sites tend to shout. This one uses a navy and white palette, a serif display face for headings, and large regional photography so the Blue Ridge and the city do the selling. Agent photos appear throughout, since people hire an agent, not a brand. Dense pages such as the sold table and the areas grid are built as real tables and lists so they stay readable on a phone and legible to screen readers.
